Has anyone used the Allergy Kit?

Celiac disease is brutal, I'm sorry you're stuck with it! I recall reading somewhere (either on their site or in the documentation) that treating a more severe form of allergy (like Celiac) would require more rounds of treatment than standard allergies. I can't personally vouch for the kit's effectiveness on Celiac since I don't have it and don't know anyone who does. I did a quick search to educate myself a little on Celiac disease and possible alternative treatments. I ran into this very interesting article (http://healthwyze.org/index.php/curing-celiac-disease.html) that claims Celiac is actually caused by an upset balance of flora in your intestinal tract. It proposes a specific diet that, after a year, should eliminate Celiac altogether. What you're avoiding in this diet isn't really gluten, it's processed carbohydrates in grains, sugars, and milk.

If that is true, the Allergy Kit may help with your system's reaction to gluten, but not really fix the source of the problem. It's possible your father healed himself by righting the balance of intestinal flora and avoiding certain foods for a period of time. Once your system heals itself of its inflamed state, the Celiac may go away on its own! My conclusion - if you have spare funds, the Allergy Kit won't hurt. It will likely take a long time to take effect, but may help your healing process in conjunction with the dietary treatment mentioned in that article. That's my opinion!

You should really try Allerdx! It's all natural and there is tons of research behind it! Dr. Stephen Morrissey created it and has dedicated his life to all natural cures. It's a fraction of the price.

Do you also have food allergies?

Anyone else try this? What about NAET?
I've improved with an elimination diet but still suffer from some issues.

Hi, I am new here but found this because I am researching the Allergy Kit. Zoe... thanks for sharing!

NAET saved my life. There is a whole story behind that, but I was so ill the docs had given up on me and I was having severe anaphylactic reactions on a daily basis. The effects of NAET were so dramatic it was startling to everyone around me and caused my chiropractor to come watch a treatment and begin treating his patients. The practicianer also had me write up my story for his publication. I am now working full time again, my brain is clear, and I am dealing with allergic reactions as an annoyance (vs. a life threatening event.)

That said, this kit seems to run on the same premise of retraining your body and working with energy. I am interested in it because my mother is beginning to have the same problems I have been dealing with. She can not get to an NAET practicianer, so this kit looks hopeful. I am thinking of giving it a try.

Sheri, that's real interesting. Did you ever figure out what you are allergic to?

The way I understand it, from years of battling allergies medically until the doctors told me to just "learn to live with it", and then going through NAET 4 years ago, is that these are "sensitivities". And yes, we discovered I was sensitive to nearly everything. Corn, wheat, candida (round up the usual suspects) are believed to have caused inflammation and basically, my body was fighting itself. It was a very scary time. The NAET doctor said it was the worst case he had ever seen.

It was my gall bladder surgeon who suggested it because she had seen it help her sister! She did not realize in suggesting something for my allergies that she was going to lose a patient. I was able to cancel my surgery after a few treatments and I have not had a problem since.

My NAET doctor does the treatments a bit differently than standard practice in that he treats as many sensitivities as he can at one time (which runs along the same lines as this Allergy Kit.) He says that he can normally clear someone in 3 sessions.
Sidenote: My NAET practitioner is in his 80s, a well known eye surgeon and one time a professor at a prestigious medical college... he certainly is not in it for the money or the return business. He does this because it helped him after 70 years of battling asthma. He also claims it has ruined his wonderful reputation, but he doesn't care. 2 years ago he was running 2 miles a day (I have not seen him for nearly 2 years)... something he could never have done before. He is certainly a believer in the method!

It took me a year of treatments only because I went back at different times in the seasons and took the current local pollens to be tested and cleared; however, he got me back to life in 2 sessions and it was quite dramatic to everyone around me. I could literally feel life flowing through me once again. This was in the fall, by Spring I was out walking several miles a day and doing fine. I felt 30 years younger than what I had been feeling.

That was 4 years ago and for the past 3 I have re-sensitized to only a few of what I suspect are my worst offenders. I am living a normal life and managing the "unknowns" with very minimal meds. A child's benadryl usually fixes things if I bump into an unidentified perfume in a classroom or at work.

I have also gone through the ALCAT program and liver cleanses this past year in my search for optimal health. Everyone's body is different, but I have found avoiding gluten and a lot of processed sugar has helped with how I feel in my joints and swelling. NAET, on the other hand, helped with severe reactions and brain fog.

I think everyone has to find their own path, but I will attest to the fact that NAET has nothing to do with the placebo effect in my case (I was a huge skeptic and even experiencing it, it still feels odd to talk about it). In addition, I have not needed a continual treatment, even though I go in and get checked periodically by my chiropractor just to make sure. I also know not everyone is going to have my same experience.

All this to say, the Allergy Kit looks very similar to NAET. I am very tempted to get it for my Mom and would like to hear more testimonials.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I really can't comment or offer an opinion because I don't know anything about NAET. I'm glad it seemed to work for you. Sounds like it's not a respected practice if it cost your doctor his reputation. Though, some things that are not "main stream" are discount in that way. Sometimes it's good to look for things like that.
