Politicians and food allergies
Senator Chris Dodd's daughter has severe food allergies. The NYT published an article last winter about presidential candidates campaigning with young children. The Dodds were featured in the article. His daughter has experienced anaphylaxis so they are very careful about the food that she consumes. I know you were seeking politicians but the only information that I had pertained to family members. Hope it still helps.

Actually, that's exactly what I wanted to learn. Politicians that deal first hand with the issue. Either as a sufferer or a caregiver.
