Default What's your story?

How did you find out you had bad allergies?

Here's my story...
I ate a peanut butter and banana sandwich for lunch one day and at about 2am the following morning, I woke up with diarrhea ( which I found out is a sign of analphylaxis). Then I noticed bumps on my legs, and pretty soon I noticed my lips swelling. I woke up my DH and he brought me to the ER. At this time, my lips and tongue were so swollen, my tongue wouldn't fit in my mouth. I was starting to be unable to breathe. Luckily I had arrived at the ER in time and they gave me Benadryl (I also took benadryl before going to ER), solumedryl, and put me on oxygen. I did a bunch of blood tests. That's how I found out I had food allergies. My airbourne allergies are another whole other can of worms.
